VSIP Industrial Parks represent a nationwide network of integrated industrial developments in Vietnam, established in 1996 as a symbol of economic cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore. Over three decades, VSIP has expanded its presence across 18 provinces and cities, developing 30 industrial park projects and creating an extensive platform for manufacturing, logistics, technology and next-generation industries.
The VSIP network has attracted approximately US$31.2 billion in foreign direct investment, supporting more than 1,000 businesses from 30 countries and territories. Rather than relying on a single financing structure, individual VSIP projects are developed through project-specific investment arrangements involving the VSIP joint venture and other investment partners.
The development model is backed by the strategic partnership between Becamex IDC from Vietnam and Sembcorp Development from Singapore. This Vietnam–Singapore joint-venture foundation provides VSIP with both local market expertise and international experience in industrial park and integrated urban development.
Each industrial park is developed through dedicated project investment and infrastructure-development structures, with VSIP providing ready-to-use industrial land, ready-built factories, warehousing and logistics facilities, international-standard technical infrastructure, and one-stop investment support services. The model enables investors to establish operations efficiently while benefiting from a well-developed industrial ecosystem.
VSIP Group serves as the principal developer and operator of the industrial park network, supported by the combined capabilities of Becamex IDC and Sembcorp Development. Becamex contributes extensive experience in Vietnam’s industrial and urban development, while Sembcorp brings international expertise in industrial park and integrated township development. Together, the two partners have established VSIP as a leading industrial development platform and an important bridge for international investment into Vietnam.
